This month marks the 4th anniversary for our Atlanta-based boutique firm
The Vivid team is taking some time this month to celebrate our firm’s 4th anniversary!
From our inception in 2017 (as Sperry IP Law), our mission has always revolved around offering an outstanding experience for the most innovative of clients. Founder Marcy Sperry saw the chance to model a business idea after her clients’ imaginative endeavors: She committed to bringing her big law background to a boutique environment, building a more reliable, knowledgeable, and accessible legal outfit for creators, inventors, and brands.
She also saw the chance to rebrand the firm in 2019 under the trademark-protected Vivid IP—to “walk the talk,” as they say!
We’ve had a fast-paced and fortunate few years. Some of the accomplishments we’re proudest of include:
Registering DARE TO DREAM as one of our firm’s taglines—an appropriate directive for our ambitious clients!
Earning recognition from industry peers via programs like Super Lawyers and publications like Georgia Trend.
Developing fruitful and fun relationships with organizations like the Symposium on ASIA-USA Partnership Opportunities (SAUPO) and Georgia Lawyers for the Arts.
Expanding our services into the entertainment arena, including a range of local film studios, producers, performers, and artists.
Successfully making the switch to remote work during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic—and keeping the business running seamlessly in the process.
What’s next? Our small but mighty group of IP protectors has steadily grown—in number, skill, clientele, and experience—and we’re thrilled to see what the rest of 2021 will look like for our firm.
